How to change the path of oracle database password file from '/oracle/software/dbms/dbs/orapwdSID" to "/database/conf/"

It should reside in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs, where ever it is.

Create a link or use a pfile with the statement "spfile=<your spfile>".

by using a softlink?

ln -s /oracle/software/dbms/dbs/orapwdSID /database/conf/

Soft link is ok. I understand.....
But what you mean "Use a pfile with the statement "spfile=<spfile>.
