I am using Oracle 10g. Just recently i enabled Archiving. My location for Archive logs is the Flash Recovery Area. Every day i physically remove the previous day logs and copy it in another location but still the flash recovery area usage is not updated. Please let me know how i can reclaim the used Flash Recovery Area.

You should not physically remove the files. If you are going to do anything, you can copy them elsewhere and let FRA remove the files when necessary. The other option may be to specify another archive log destination in addition to the FRA.

To get out of the situation you are in, perform the following:

RMAN> crosscheck archivelog all;
RMAN> delete expired archivelog all;

when i specify a different archive destination it doesnt create seperate folders datewise daily which is done when i use default FRA.

Is it possible to have daily datewise folders created when i specify a different location other than default FRA destination.

That is a feature of FRA. If you want that functionality outside of the FRA, you'd have to do that yourself.
