How many tablespaces can be active at a time?

How to check which of the available tablespaces is active?

Seriously doubt you'll ever reach the limit, but it's 64k.

Check DBA_TABLESPACES for status.

Please note that "ACTIVE" is not a vald status for a tablespace so your question makes no sense.
