Dear all,

I have an oracle 10g db install on Solaris 10 Sparc. I have noticed that SYSAUX tablespace keeps on decreasing everyday. Furthermore, i have configured AWR to generate reports for errors and SQL statements.

Please advise.

By the way, what does "SYSAUX tablespace keeps on decreasing" mean?

The tablespace everyday increases by 10MB.

Query v$sysaux_occupants each day to know who is using space.

I had a similiar problem and on investigtion AWR was producing reports (something like) every half hour and retaining them for 10 days, I changed it to every 2 hours and retain them for 4 days.

The SYSAUX tablespace was reporting a decrease in freespace of almost 1 percent each day, it has now stabilised at 29-30 percent and has stayed that way for over a year
