my database is in oracle 8i my current log_archive_format=ARC%S.ARC
i want to install standby database with log_archive_format= ARC%S.%T

should i change log_archive_format for my database first or install my standby database with log_archive_format= ARC%S.%T witch archive format do you recommand.

In 8i, I liked '%T_%S.ARC'.
