Hi all,

While running the schema/table statistics in oracle 9i, do we have to monitor temp tablespace??

Can anybody tell me what are the things we need to monitor in database while running statistics .

OS -- windows 2000

I mean during schema/table analyze which is used to gather statistics of the tables, what are the things we need to monitor at that time in database??

Actually,i just want to know whther we need to monitor anything in database like tablespace,lock,CPU utilization etc...
during analyzing the table(DBMS_STATS)

It depends how you analyze (analyze or dbsm_stats) and which level, your oracle version and so on.
The best is to test it.
Have a look at statistics like '%direct%', gather statistics, and query again the previous statistics and see the differences.
