Iam having problem in listener, the problem is I have 3 instances is running on one machine and right now listener is working for only two instances when i tried to add the third instances its not work. Right iam using port 1521 & 1526 and i tried to give 1527 to third instances but does'nt work.

Can anyone tell me i can use port 1527 or not?

netstat -a;

if you see the port is in use, then clean/rebind the port.

what is the exact err msg on the console ?

I am running 3 db instances in 1 listener (port 1521). No Problem.

HP-UX 11.0
Oracle 8.0.5.2.1
