If I rollback a large transaction, does the transaction still exist in on line redo log?

I never be a DBA so that I cannot verify it through looking into the log file. My guess is the transaction will be keep in the log file since for a large transaction, the log switch could occur before the transaction finishing and arch could already save the log file. Thus, even if the rollback occured later on, there is no way to reverse the transaction keeped in the redo log. Am I right?
