I need to send an e-mail through Oracle db .
I am using Oracle 8.0.5.2.0
on Solaris .
Any suggestions ??

Hi Manish,
I think Oracle 8.0.5 doesnot support this feature. You can updated to Oracle 8i or extract the e-mail contents from the db using dbms_output.put_line and use the mailx facility of solaris. Hope it will work out
