I am a student and in my database class we are creating a database in Oracle. I have created all of my tables and I am having difficulty inserting date values into a field with a date format. I only need month and year, ex. JUL 2000. I cannot get the table to accept the date, in my INSERT command. How would I get this to work?? I would appreciate any help.
