To facilitate connections between the individual databases of a distributed database, oracle uses database links.

e.g.
CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK marketing.division.super.com ...

SELECT * FROM employee@marketing.division.super.com;

I'd like to know what is the equivalent of a "database link" for Infomix, Sybase, DB2 and SQLServer.
