In what dba table (if any) can i find out if a package, procedure or function is wrapped?

Thanks in advance.

user_source/dba_source.
If the code is wrapped, you will not see the code.

Something like this.
The source code should be compiled in database using the wrapped file (.plb by default).
NAME TEXT
------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------
VWISEXISTS FUNCTION VWIsExists wrapped
                               a000000
                               1
                               abcd
                               abcd
                               abcd
                               abcd

By regular means NO. There is no built-in mechanism to do it.
But there are some covert methods that rely on specific loop holes to unwrap the code. Methods depend on versions and not recommended for all.

Dear sir Mahesh Rajendran

You could also post all the hack against the database or the links that explain how to do it you know.

Why not create a "Hack Oracle database" forum, I'm pretty sure it will have a big success.

Michel

Michel,
you are just shooting the messenger Wink.
It is not new. It is not secret. But seems visible only to the
informed folks.

I totally understand and agree with your concern though.
