Hi to all,
In one of production server, recently we have upgraded from 9i to 10g. Here our problem starts.
Every 3 days once TNS-12518 error is throwed. At the initial stage, my database SGA_TARGET=1500m and PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET=1300M, SGA_MAX_SIZE=1800M.
I have googled for TNS-12518 and Reduced my SGA_TARGET=800M and PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET=750M and SGA_MAX_SIZE=100M sizes.
Now too the database throws TNS-12518.
And one of the big problem is,
I came to know that, when i login to the database using OMS Database control. I can see 4 sessions per each connection.
One with username DBSNMP and other 3 are with SYSTEM.
When i logoff only the DBSNMP session is disconnected from the database, other sessions still maintain.
And my other application also produces 4 to 5 session per single login at the same time and at the same second.
I think this is a bug in oracle 10.2.0.4.0 version because in all the applications i can see multiple session created per single login.
Did any one came of this issue?
Any suggestions are welcome.
