By default, 32-bit can't address that amount of memory. You can consider AWE/PAE to address more memory on 32-bit architecture.

Thanks for reply.

I have already done,

i have added " /PAE " in boot.ini file and i also added "/3GB" for to enable 4GT.

and i also created registry string parameter "AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY" with value of " 1288490188 " (1.2 GB) in registry in ORACLE DATABASE HOME...

but, thereafter i am unable to locate full(32gb) memory or more than 2 gb ram in database creation.

Which is the way it is. Read up on what /PAE and /3GB actually do.

They just allow the OS to give more RAM to all running applications. But a single application will never be able to address 32GB on a 32bit system.

Do you really need to use all 32G for oracle?
I don't have a single production machine running on more than 4G.

Nope. Iitanium is a completely different beast. Xeon is "EM64T"

Alas, when you browsed down the Certification Matrix you will find :

Quote:

There is no 64-bit version of 9iR2 nor 10gR1 for 64-bit Windows on AMD64/EM64T hardware

So you need to install 10gR2 at least.
