during log-in process.....getng a error "ORA-01925 maximum of 60 enabled roles exceeded"

try to change the parameter MAX_ENABLED_ROLES in init.ora files...but could not find the such file....

OS is Windows xp
and database is oracle9i


Please help...........

If you can't find the file how we that have no access to your server can help? Wink

Check if you are not working with a spfile:
show parameter spfile

alter system set MAX_ENABLED_ROLES =... scope=spfile
and restart

I wonder about any application where a single schema requires more than 60 roles in order to properly operate.
I certainly would like to see the actual list of ROLE that the schema has/gets.
