Hi,

My oracle SES version is 10.1.8.2 and its instance version is 10.1.0.5, how can I upgrade its database from 10.1.0.5 to 10R2?

I have search around and couldn't find the answer.

Read The Fine Installation Guideline Manual for your OS
& follow its directions for the Upgrade.

thanks, so is that mean I need to upgrade the database as normal database? There's no different of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search database and normal Enterprise database? According to the upgrade information, I don't see what to do with Oracle SES upgrade. Do I need to shutdown SES, etc...?

Please can you provide more information?
