Hi,
We have various oracle versions line 9.2.0.1 or 10.1.0.1

There are 4-5 numbers which specify the version of the Oracle Installation. Can you please tell what each of the digit specify.

"Component specific release numner" is [about] patchset number for RDBMS component.

Note that this has changed with the introduction of PSU (10.2.0.4+), the last number ("Platform specific release number") is now the PSU number.
