Hi,

I wanted to deInstall 11g from my server.
Instead of using the deinstall utility at $ORACLE_HOME/deinstall, I manually removed the $ORACLE_HOME using rm -rif.
Since the information is registered in oraInventory/inventory.XML i am not able to reinstall at the same location, and i cannot use different location for ORACLE_HOME, since it is a production environment.

Please suggest me a workaround to remove ORACLE_HOME.

Thank You

I downloaded deinstall utility from OTN and deinstalled the ORACLE_HOME..
