Hi all ,

I want to what should be the standard maintain for the oracle DB server ? I mean how much disk space should be free on the drives which contain the datafiles .and how it can effect our performance ?

How much will your datafiles grow?

Not used space impacts the performances in no way.

In my DB there is only 15% disk space is free . and now the performance of db server become worse ...my cpu is being used 100% .please suggest a solution .

Why do you blame amount of free disk space for high CPU usage?

Its a heavy database approx 900gb . and lots of user connect to it . So its CPU is being used 100% .
